how to transfer music from IPodTouch to ...

I have about 1800 songs form old cd's on i pod touch. My mac crashed and had to have a new hard drive and optical drive. Dumb Dumb me I had not backed up computer. How can I get my music from I pod to computer. Right now I got back what I paid for via itunes but I really don't want to seat for hours and days re up loading all my cd's. any help!
