I stopped by the Apple Store today. They told me that they have had customers actually complain that their iPod Touch is shuffling songs just while they are out jogging.
Since my Updating my iPod Touch to Software Version 3.1, I can only seem to get my iPod to shuffle when I am laying in bed, have the screen ON and the music window open, then if I give it a shake it gives a little beep and shuffles.
Otherwise, even if I shake it really hard I cannot get it to shuffle.
What do you all think? Is it a bad software download from iTunes? I did a RESTORE on the unit and have checked that the settings for shuffle is ON.
The Apple store says I may have to speak to the genius bar and may end up having to swap out my Touch for another one. I don't really want to do that.
My model is the 32G 2nd generation iPod Touch.
