How do I get feedback for quality of product being sold (and resold)?
Hi, I understand there are reviews on Amazon etc. for products with name brands (i.e. Sony/Panasonic etc.). However, this is a case where an international seller is selling/re-selling electronics constantly on their ebay site. The feedback are all centered around the transaction (i.e. good shipment, payment etc.) but can't seem to find anything with regards to the quality of the actual product. Seems like there have already been a number of buyers since they've been selling this over and over again. Is there a way I can get feedback on the the quality of the actual product instead of hte transaction? thanks for any guidance.|||Google? It may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||Doesn't exist in Google because it's an international product (i.e. DVD player) with no brand name attached....|||International products have brand names too. If there is NOT one given in the listing, odds are it's not worth purchasing.||||||So you could write the seller and ask for the brand/manufacturer then googleIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||Guys, I know how to use google.. I'm asking about products that cannot be googled - For example, check this item How do you suppose I google that? =) I'm asking if there's any way we can find out if customers that have previously bought from this store are satisfied with the product received (i.e. 3/6/9 months later). All the feedback only point to whether the product was shipped, received, payment etc.. but nothing speaks to whether it will break in 6 months (i.e. Insigna DVD player has bad user ratings)... Maybe the answer is "no".. or "don't buy this stuff" but thought I'd ask the more experienced users in the community. Thanks for any help you can provide. Figured this would be useful on ebay if we're to weed out good vs. bad quality.. thanks|||not reallyIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"|||||||||Try under 'firestarters'|||"it's an international product (i.e. DVD player) with no brand name attached...." = cheap, Chinese carp ,likely counterfeit as NO Brand name given. Re: 3,6. 9 12+ longevity = NOT likely No Ebay does not have a guide or reviews for Products ,especially the junk coming from China.||||||LOL! Brutal... =) I get the point! And yes.. I know things from China are usually cheap and eventually useless. Nonetheless, this item was just an example and I wanted illustrate my point about product feedback... In any case, thanks for the entertaining comments nonetheless...|||There is a logo on the widget TFY If that cannot be googled- move along.
