Speedtest.net on iPod Touch 3rd Gen ...

Hello all

When I test the Network Speed, using the Speedtest.net App, on my 3rd Gen iPod Touch I get a Ping of over 300ms and a Download Speed of approximately 0.5Mbps.

When I then test on my two Laptops on Speedtest.net using the same Server I get a Ping of 40ms and a Download Speed of 6.30Mbps.

The Router and Modem both have the latest Firmware.

I have tried resetting the Wireless Settings on the iPod Touch without any change.

I have also reset the iPod touch completely and started from scratch, again without any improvement.

The iPod Touch was purchased in September supplied with 3.1 which I then updated to 3.11 then subsequently to 3.12.

Any ideas as to why the Network Speed of the iPod Touch is so much slower than the other computers that I own?
